May I have or you know the command lines which I have to set for these details? I think, it woud be better and should work via ruser, but for this we have to set the command line, so that Lansweeper can scann all the granted details…. Just want to be clear that this quickwin is great but I would prefer to have it integrated securely. But if that’s working on your side, all good🙂 I mean, I’m not a CISO, but giving root access (even if we speak about a (mostly) readonly system might cause some headache. If you would know which files need to get accessed, you could whitelist them for ruser: I’ve had to use root account for ControlUp as well My justification is that it’s a read-only OS, Lansweeper access control permissions are set, and access controls are in place in UMS. That‘s 100% true Mike, and, yes, root access is what I would try tp avoid🙈 I’m sure this isn’t within “best practices”, but we simply add the root credentials for our IGEL devices within Lansweeper. Yes, but do you know how they access it? Do they recommendations on right level / role the user should have? I think, Lansweeper should have the access on these infos… or more. I guess the user needs more rights, what is Lansweeper needing? Do you know that? Does anyone know or already had any experience which set of command lines need to be set up for the remote user, so that the TC can be scanned through Lansweeper?
